Though the 'ABCD 2' actress never took any names, she was frequently spotted with Rahul Mody, leading people to speculate about their relationship. The most recent spotting of the rumoured couple has been at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar.
Putting speculations that had been going on for a while now to rest, Shraddha Kapoor took to her Instagram Stories and posted a radiant selfie with Rahul Mody. In the picture, Kapoor can be seen in a white kurti, accessorized by fine gold necklaces, whereas Mody was discerned in a white shirt. The couple posed, resting their heads with each other. She captioned the picture with the funny quote, "Dil rakh le, neend to vaapis de de yaar," which basically means, "Take my heart; return my sleep." ???? Her sense of humor gleamed even in just this line of the post, where she posted several emojis, including a heart.
This is hence social media confirmation after former reports that Kapoor and Mody might finally tie the knot. Though comfortable in being spotted in public, the two place a high premium on privacy and try to keep their relationship out of the limelight as much as possible.
Two months ago, Kapoor had dropped a subtle hint at her relationship with Mody on social media. She had posted a picture wearing a pendant with a letter 'R' engraved, and soon enough, speculations had begun linking it to Mody.
