Bigg Boss Season 19 has already seen its share of conflicts, disputes, and high-level confrontations, but the recent updates suggest that romance could be in the air in the house.
On a recent episode, Tanya Mittal's dramatic outburst was something that touched a chord with most housemates. Although some of the contestants came to her defense, it was Amaal Mallik's unflinching and strong support of his "friend" Tanya that made everyone sit up and take notice.
His stern attitude and forceful actions caught the other contestants off guard, particularly Tanya, who looked visibly proud of her friend for standing so strongly up for her.
Amaal, usually identified in the home for his straight-talking, no-nonsense attitude, was observed displaying a gentler, softer side whenever Tanya was present. When Kunickaa Sadanand went after Tanya personally during an argument, Amaal played tough cop, standing up for her. Just seconds later, however, he softened his tone, telling Tanya to calm down and not worry while he was there. His physical posture—relaxed, guard-like, and reassuring—was in stark contrast to his typical hard shell. Later, in an emotional conversation, Tanya shared with Amaal that while she could take criticism aimed at her, she would get extremely disturbed when anyone took a shot at him.
Amaal, on his part, confessed that Tanya was the only one in the house who could soothe him. He also mentioned that Zeishan Quadri influenced him positively, as he said, "Sirf tu aur Zeishan Bhai max, I listen to (Only you and Zeishan at the most, I listen to)," thus again emphasizing the unique connection he has with Tanya. The peak of emotion in the episode was when, having defended Tanya, Amaal took her hand and assured her not to worry and to remain calm while he was near.
Tanya's holding on to his hand even after releasing him implied a bond that appeared to transcend friendship. Though Tanya and Amaal might not yet realize it themselves, the way they interact and move their bodies tells us that there is certainly a spark of undeniable chemistry between them—implying that an in-depth relationship might be forming in the Bigg Boss mansion.
