The emotional conversation took place with fellow contestant Munawar Faruqui, where Ankita became teary-eyed while recalling Sushant's untimely demise.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, triggering a wave of controversies and conspiracy theories surrounding his suicide.

Ankita shared poignant moments following Sushant's death, revealing the emotional impact it had on her. Describing her feelings upon seeing him, she expressed the profound sense of loss, stating, "When I saw him, I felt everything was over. So many films he watched, and everything was over. There was this one picture of him which was very bad. It looked like he was sleeping. I just kept looking at that picture and thought there was so much in his brain. I knew him very well. He must have had so much in his brain but all was vanished. You are nothing, you're just a body then."

The actress went on to discuss the reasons behind Sushant's demise, telling Munawar, "Toot gaya wo kisi cheez se. Nahi hona chahiye tha (He was broken because of something. This shouldn't have happened)." When asked if it was due to "a lot of things," Ankita admitted uncertainty, stating, "I don’t know."

Ankita also shared the challenges she faced post-Sushant's death, revealing that she had to block numerous people on social media due to the relentless targeting. Recounting the difficult period, she said, "But maine na bahut logo ko uss time pe block kiya. Kyuki meko itna ganda bola jaata tha, mei nahi le sakti thi. Maine block kar diya. (But I blocked many people that time because there were bad things told to me which I couldn’t take it)."

Ankita Lokhande's candid revelations offer a glimpse into the emotional turmoil she experienced following Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic passing, shedding light on the personal challenges and tribulations she faced during that difficult period.
