Veteran Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, hosting the quiz-based reality show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati,' was requested for a coffee date by one of his contestants.
Pardeep Kaur Benipal from Rajasthan takes the sizzling hot seat in the latest episode of the show. Pardeep, who completed her MBBS from China, charmed both the audience and Amitabh Bachchan with her vibrant personality. She even requested Big B to call her "Peri" as she does not like her full name.
Adding to the scintillating repartee, Pardeep asks the senior actor to come for a coffee date. Taken aback, Big B agrees. He asks for coffee to be brought to the stage and with characteristic wit says, "Please change the lights!" The tone of the date is thus set.
Big B gives candid words to the audience as well, recalling them with characteristic warmth and humility when saying:
He said, "I come to work in the morning, and I leave at night, but I always love listening to you all. When I come to work in the morning, the first thing I do is ask about all of you. I'm not saying this because you're here; I really mean it.".
He went on, "I ask if they came, if they're sitting okay, if they took care of them, how long they sat, and if they had water. You all sit here while we prepare, and we don't like to waste your time. That's why we ensure that as soon as you're settled, we immediately begin the show.
The show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' season 16 will air Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Television.
