The teaser of the upcoming film 'Bastar: The Naxal Story' was unveiled on Tuesday, featuring a one-minute-long monologue by actress Adah Sharma. Adah, known for her role in 'The Kerala Story', portrays the character of I.G. Neerja Madhvan in the film.
In the teaser, Adah's character is depicted as a determined and resolute officer who is committed to eliminating the 'anti-nationals'. She delivers a powerful monologue comparing the sacrifices of Indian soldiers killed by Pakistan to those of the Naxalites.
Additionally, the teaser highlights an incident where certain individuals allegedly celebrated the killings of CRPF policemen during the Dantewada Maoist attack in 2010. It suggests that there are "pseudo-intellectuals" in India perpetuating propaganda to divide the country, purportedly funded by China.
The film reunites Adah with producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah and director Sudipto Sen, following their collaboration on 'The Kerala Story'.
Produced by Sunshine Pictures and co-produced by Aashin A. Shah, 'Bastar: The Naxal Story' is set to hit cinemas worldwide on March 15.
