Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana recently took to his Instagram stories and shared a funny picture of his lunch. He humorously compared it to "thermocol." He posted a picture of his sabudana khichadi and quipped, "Sabudana khichadi = tharmocol."
In another update, Ayushmann took to his social media handle on August 15 and showed how much of a patriot he is. In the update, he shared a strong bond he has with Viksit Bharat. It was in this regard that he recalled witnessing India's tremendous growth at the global level.
He shared, "I consider myself deeply patriotic. I grew up in an environment where my parents told me about the pride that we should feel for being Indians because there is no other country like ours.".
Ayushmann further said, "At this tender age, their lives who fought for our freedom taught me a lesson that left an indelible mark on my heart and mind." He admired their "resilience, grit, and unconditional love for the motherland," stating that his school celebrated Independence Day by honoring these heroes. "We celebrated our freedom with a gentle reminder that independence was earned with a lot of sacrifice.".
He said freedom could be preserved only with participation and each should take his share of responsibility in nation-building.
Ayushmann recently released his new single, "Reh Ja," and expressed how thrilled he is to explore all beats of romance and heartbreak through his songwriting.
Ayushmann will next be seen with Kareena Kapoor Khan in a crime thriller by Meghna Gulzar, which has apparently taken cues from the Hyderabad rape case.
