"When it comes to seeking out the people I play, it's more of an issue of where the movie shoots," he told People. "I'm too old to be living out of a suitcase for six months and I've settled into a nicer phase where I'm just happy being at home."

People further stated that he's also thinking a lot more about his future outside of acting - one that includes marriage and fatherhood.

"That's absolutely something I want," he said, adding: "Some things you want just for you, or just for my family and my friends."

Speaking to Boston's WHDH TV 7NEWS news channel, she said: "My reaction was,  yeah, of course, it's about time!' I was bragging when he was potty trained, I was bragging when he was walking, but this is something that everyone will know about. I'm pretty happy about it."

While Lisa was unsurprised by the 'Avengers: Endgame' actor's win, she revealed her son was shocked.

"That is not the case anymore. If I have two beers, I wear it. I haven't had to play a role like Captain America in a while so things like diet and workout regimen haven't been on my radar. But getting older, things are clicking and sore and it's harder to wake up, you have less energy...

"You know what it is? It's that it happened so quickly. A year ago I wasn't thinking about any of this. I was someone who was lucky enough to not really think much of it in my 30s and then I hit 40 and it all came at once."
