Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar and host of the popular quiz-based reality show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15,' recently shared some interesting insights during a lively episode. In the 97th episode, the veteran actor welcomed Pooja Pareek from Sonitpur, Assam, to the hot seat.
Pooja, visibly excited, expressed her disbelief at encountering the cinematic icon, stating, “Sir, you're real.” Amitabh, playfully addressing the audience, responded, “She's asking me if I'm real.” Pooja showered compliments on the 81-year-old star, praising his good looks, to which Amitabh humorously suggested they go for tea.
During the course of the show, a question about stuffed food items arose, with the options being Roti, Sev, Momo, and Shrikhand. Pooja correctly identified momo as the traditional stuffed food item. Amitabh, revealing a personal preference, confessed, “I have been told many times at home that they’ve made momos, but I don’t get it. It's very doughy, right? It has some sort of filling inside. They say eat it with chutney or sauce. I'm sorry, I don't like it. Since you like it, I'll treat you to momos when I take you out for tea.”
Further into the conversation, Amitabh inquired about Pooja's cooking skills. She admitted not enjoying cooking due to living alone, but if someone visits, she makes something nice. Big B then asked what she would prepare for him. Pooja mentioned 'sheera' and aloo parathas, with a promise to attempt a delicious kheer.
Amitabh, with his characteristic wit, informed her that he has stopped eating rice and suggested using vermicelli for the kheer. The exchange added a delightful touch to the show, showcasing the camaraderie between the iconic host and the enthusiastic contestant.
