Fans who were waiting with bated breath for Allu Arjun's "Pushpa 2: The Rule" will now have to give six months more than what was expected as this highly-anticipated pan-India film locks its release for December 6.
Allu Arjun took to social media on Monday and updated the same,"#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from Dec 6th, 2024."
The film was initially slated to release on August 15, but it was pulled off from the release schedule last week, citing post-production works.
The original editor of the film, Karthika Srinivas, walked out of the project. Navin Nooli has taken up the mantle of editor and is reportedly working on final cuts now.
Sources close to the team reveal that director Sukumar is contemplating the re-shooting of some scenes due to VFX issues, and to make the film better, he might undertake some patchworks.
It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. "Pushpa 2: The Rule" also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in crucial roles.
