Alia Bhatt is indeed upping the ante for the preparations of the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed "Love and War".
Alia Bhatt was snapped on Thursday outside Bhansali's office in Versova, Mumbai. She is photographed wearing a bright yellow shirt, teamed up with jeans, while waving at shutterbugs waiting outside the filmmaker's office.
It was a month ago that the makers of the Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal-starrer epic saga 'Love and War' finally confirmed that the movie is coming on March 20, 2026.
Released by Bhansali (SLB), the film's date coincides with the biggest holiday stretch, including the festivals of Ramzan, followed one after another by Ram Navmi and Gudi Padwa.
The film is said to be a love story of two individuals who are compelled to go their separate ways as they owed much to the family obligations.
The director's last attempt was 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', a historical drama series, in which Bhansali narrated the fictions of tawaifs working in the red-light area Heera Mandi of Lahore while the Indian independence movement was fought against the British Raj.
It stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta, and Taha Shah Badussha.
This is Alia's second collaboration with her husband Ranbir, after the 2022 action-adventure 'Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva'. She was last seen in the romantic comedy film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' by Karan Johar and sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh. She also has 'Jigra' and 'Alpha' in the kitty.
Vicky Kaushal's last release was "Bad Newz". He will be seen next in "Chhaava", an historical epic based on the life of Maratha Chhatrapati Sambhaji, played by Vicky Kaushal. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. The movie is helmed by Laxman Utekar.
Regarding Ranbir Kapoor, who is enjoying the success of his movie "Animal, will next be part of "Ramayana" opposite Sai Pallavi.
