Akshay Kumar Reunites with Priyadarshan After 14 Years for 'Bhooth Bangla'

On Monday, Akshay Kumar celebrated his 57th birthday by announcing that he reunites with the filmmaker Priyadarshan after 14 years with their horror-comedy 'Bhooth Bangla .'
Sharing the motion poster on the film, Akshay took to X. In this picture, he is seen drinking milk from a bowl, with a black cat perched on his shoulder.

Akshay has termed the project a "dream collaboration," saying, "This dream collaboration has been in the making for a long, long time.can't wait to share this phenomenal journey with you all. Watch out for magic! Marrying laughter with nonstop entertainment!"

Details of the movie remain under wraps as it is due for release in 2025, but the actor-director combo has given hits like "Hera Pheri," "De Dana Dan," "Bhool Bhulaiyaa," "Garam Masala," and "Khatta Meetha.

On September 7, Akshay-who was last seen in the film 'Khel Khel Mein'-provided a sneak peek into the venture and hinted at an announcement on his birthday. 

He took to Instagram to post a motion poster with an ominous face of metal across royal red curtains with words that read: "Ganpati Bappa Morya! What better day than today to give a hint about something special coming your way? The big reveal is coming on my birthday. Stay tuned! #SpecialAnnouncement."

Apart from Bhooth Bangla, Akshay has an enviable line-up of films that include Singham Again, Sky Force, Jolly LLB 3, Welcome To The Jungle, Shankara and Hera Pheri 3.
