Sharing insights about 'Wada Raha Sanam,' Abhijeet revealed, "The song 'Wada Raha Sanam' was not intended for me. Champak Jain, the late owner of Venus Records Music, was a dear friend and my Godfather. This was Venus's debut film, and Akshay Kumar kickstarted his journey as a rockstar here."

He went on to narrate the backstory of the song, stating, "Originally meant for Balasubrahmanyam, the music director duo Jatin-Lalit envisioned this song for their debut film, with the dream of Balasubrahmanyam and Lata Ji performing it together. However, due to scheduling conflicts with Lata Ji, the plan didn't materialize."

"When rehearsals became challenging, it was decided that Balasubrahmanyam and Alka Yagnik would lend their voices to the song. Although it was not initially in my hands, I was later informed that I would dub the song with Alka Ji. Despite the circumstances, if I had sung it now, it would have sounded better due to Alka Ji's velvety voice," Abhijeet explained.

Reflecting on his past, he added, "Back then, I lacked the seasoning and experience I have today. What we call 'crawling' wasn't within me at that time."
