As a longtime ambassador of the French luxury house since 2018, Cruz turned heads in the exquisite creation, which featured a ruched bodice adorned with shimmering jewel buttons. The ethereal look was completed with a sheer cape flowing from the dress’ straps. Chanel revealed that the intricate craftsmanship behind the gown required 254 hours of meticulous work.
Complementing her elegant attire, the actress accessorized with a selection of striking Chanel high jewelry. Her ensemble included dazzling diamond "Soleil" earrings, a coordinating ring with a round-cut diamond exceeding 5 carats, a "Comete Aubazine" diamond ring, and a "Soleil 19 Aout" brooch showcasing a magnificent 22.10-carat yellow diamond, People reported.
Cruz was among the distinguished presenters at the star-studded affair, sharing the stage with fellow celebrities such as Halle Berry, Bowen Yang, and Scarlett Johansson.
Her history with the Academy Awards dates back to 2000, when she first attended in a stunning cobalt blue Chanel couture gown from the Spring 1995 collection.
