The registration deadline for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2022 has been extended to October 24. The examinations are being conducted by IIT Bombay for admission into undergraduate (UG) designing courses. Candidates who are interested can register themselves on their official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in.
The application process commenced on September 9, 2021, and the last date previously was marked as October 10 without late fees and October 17 with late fee charges. The deadline is now extended up to October 24 without late fee and October 29 with late fee. Only online registration is being accepted for UCEED 2022
Alongside registration, the eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled to be applicable for the entrances. Candidates belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category need to be of age 25 years or less and SC, ST or PwD category candidates need to be of age 30 years or less. Candidates can attempt the examinations only twice. They also need to pass the Class XII or equivalent examinations in all subjects in 2021 or should be appearing for the same for the first time in 2022. Candidates who appeared for the examination of Class XII in 2020 are not qualified for the examination as per UCEED official guidelines.

Here's how to apply for UCEED 2022
For filling in the applications the candidates will require details like their personal email ID and their mobile number.
1. Visit the official website of UCEED - uceed.iitb.ac.in
2. On the displayed homepage, click on the registration link
3. Enter email ID to complete the registration
4. The application form will be displayed on the screen
5. Fill the form with the asked details
6. Upload the required documents.
7. Pay the application fees through mentioned gateways
8. Download the application form for further use
The UCEED 2022 examinations are scheduled to be held on January 23, 2022. The duration of the examination is 3 hours from 9 am to 12 pm. Only students who qualify the UCEED 2022 will be eligible for applying for Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur.
The joint seat allocation process will be conducted in the months of April, May, and June after the results are declared for the examination. The seat allocation will be done in 3 rounds. UCEED 2022 results will be announced on March 10.
