JEE Mains 2023: Exam syllabus released | All you need to know

In JEE Mains 2023, Paper 1 will be for admission in undergraduate engineering programmes – BE (Bachelor of Engineering) and BTech (Bachelor of Technology) whereas Paper 2 will be for admission in BArch (Bachelor of Architecture) and BPlanning (Bachelor of Planning) course in the country; the examination will be conducted in 2 sessions through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The syllabus of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2023 has been released by The National Testing Agency (NTA); Applicants can download the syllabus from the official website of JEE Main – jeemain.nta.nic.in. The BE and B Tech Examination paper of JEE Main 2023 will be divided into three sections in which Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be included. The Exam of JEE Main 2023 comprises paper 1 and paper 2.

In the exam, for every correct or most appropriate answer, 4 marks will be awarded and for every wrong or multiple answers one marks will be deducted whereas for unanswered or marked for review no marks will be given. In accordance with National Education Policy (NEP), the examination will be organized in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu Language. The Language option for the question paper should be selected while filling the online application form and language cannot be changed later on; For the correctness of the questions in all the question papers the final will be English version.
