JEE Advanced 2022 postponed; Check out the new date and schedule here

The entrance exam will be conducted by IIT-Bombay. The admit card will be issued on August 23. Students appearing for the exam will have to download their hall ticket from the official website- jeeadv.ac.in. The students clearing JEE Mains will only be allowed to appear for the JEE Advanced. The students clearing should rank in the top 2.5 lakh for eligibility to give JEE(A).

JEE Advanced entrance examination will now be conducted on August 28. The exam has been postponed which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on July 3. The registration process will commence on August 7 and end on August 11. The reason for the postponement is due to the change in date of JEE Mains 2022 examinations which will be held in two sessions ending on July 31.

The entrance examination will be held in two shifts. Part-1 or Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12:00 noon and the second paper will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

As a “one-time special measure”, candidates who appeared in class XII exams in 2020 can also take JEE(A) 2022 provided they didn’t land a seat in any of the IITs in 2021.

The centres for the entrance examination will be set up in 209 cities of India only and no centres will be allocated abroad due to the prevailing covid situation. The foreign nationals can travel to their centres which will be allotted to them within India. The results for JEE(A) will be announced on September 11 and seat allocation will commence on September 12.
