JEE Advanced 2021 Results: Kavya Chopra topper among girls

Kavya did her schooling at DPS Vasant Kunj in Delhi and scored 97.6 percent in CBSE class 10 exams. Alongside this, she actively participated in maths and science olympiads. Kavya has always been well-performing and academics from her schooling days. She's also the first female candidate to score a perfect 300 in JEE Mains.

Kavya Chopra from Delhi has topped the merit list in the girl category of JEE Advanced 2021 with 286 marks out of 360. 

Kavya did her schooling at DPS Vasant Kunj in Delhi and scored 97.6 percent in CBSE class 10 exams. Alongside this, she actively participated in maths and science olympiads. Kavya has always been well-performing and academics from her schooling days. She's also the first female candidate to score a perfect 300 in JEE Mains. Kavya's mother, Shika Chopra told indianexpress.com that Kavya is good at maths and loves computers. She will be opting for the BTech Computer Science course from IIT Bombay.

The AIR 1 Rank Mridul Aggarwal has not only topped the examination but also made a record by scoring the highest ever percentage in the IIT-JEE entrance examination. Mridul topped the chart by scoring 348 out of 360 marks.

Mridul obtained AIR-1 in JEE-Main 2021. He scored 300 out of 300 marks and a 100 percentile in the March attempt, while he achieved 100 percentile in the February attempt. Mridul shared he has been a part of Kota Coaching for four wonderfully enlightening years and that the competitive environment has a huge role in shaping his preparation. He said, "Apart from the coaching, I devoted about 6 to 8 hours daily to self-study".

He aspires to join IIT-Bombay and become a Computer Software Engineer. He utilized the time during the lockdown period and studied from home through ALLEN's online classes. During the online classes, he interacted with the faculty and cleared his doubts. Based on his creative skills, he wants to begin a startup.

Mridul has also an academically bright student who secured 98.2 percent in Class 10 and 98.66 percent in Class 12. He scored 428 marks in BITSAT along with securing All India Rank-1 in JEE-Main. He is also an NTSE scholar and has secured an All India Rank 1 in KVPY. 

The JEE Advanced was held on October 3 and the results have been declared on Friday, October 15.

A total of 1,41,699 students appeared in JEE Advanced 2021 and 41,862 qualified for the examination. Out of the qualified 41,862, the number of girls were 6,452.
