The Jamia Milla Islamia (JMI) has issued the academic calendar for its upcoming academic session. According to the schedule, the admission procedure for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will be starting on 12th of April 2023 and will conclude on 31st of July.
The academic session will be starting from 1st of August while the semester examination will be held between 1st of December and 15th of December and during the time of winter vacation between December 15 and January 12, 2024 the university will remain close for the students. The even semester will be started from 15th of January and the examination will be conducted between 1st and 15th of May, 2024 whereas the summer vacation will be started from 16th of May till 15th of July.
Meanwhile, the provisions to pursue dual degrees, online learning and 4-year undergraduate courses are among the new introductions made by the Jamia Millia Islamia for the next academic session in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The JMI is likely to offer four-year undergraduate programmes (FYUP) with multiple exit and entry options from the coming academic session.
