The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM)-Bangalore will conduct the computer-based Common Admission Test 2022 (CAT 2022) this year. The entrance test will take place on November 27, 2022. Candidates can apply for CAT 2022 on the official website — iimcat.ac.in.
The registration process is scheduled to begin from August 3 to September 14. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website from October 27. The CAT 2022 exam will be conducted in centres spread across 150 test cities.
The registration fee for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD category will be Rs 1150 while it is Rs 2300 for other categories of candidates.
According to the schedule, the CAT results are likely to be declared by the second week of January, 2023.
Only those candidates can apply for the exam, who have a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA [45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories], awarded by any recognised university.

On the homepage, there will also be an option for registration of non-IIM institutions. To do this, candidates simply have to click on the link and fill in the required details, then tick the declaration and click on submit.
Candidates who will appear for the final year's examination and those who are awaiting their results can also apply for CAT 2022.
Last year the CAT exam was held by the IIM Ahmedabad on November 28.
