Bihar Board class 10th results 2023 declared, 81.04% students pass examination

Namrata Kumari and Gyani Anupama got the 2nd rank, while Sanju Kumari, Bhavna Kumari, and Jaynandan Kumar Pandit got the 3rd rank. There are a total of 21 candidates who got the top 5 ranks in the results, out of which 10 candidates are girls. Bihar Board of Secondary Education (BSEB) has announced the Bihar Board 10th class examination results 2023 along with the toppers' names. This year, the overall passing percentage of the Bihar Board examination was 81.04%, with a total of 16,10,657 candidates appearing for the 10th board examination. Md Rumman Ashraf topped this year's examination with 97.8% (489 marks out of 500).

This year, for the 10th class board examination, 16,10,657 candidates appeared, out of which 8,19,737 candidates were girls while 7,90,920 were boys. 4,74,615 students (2,73,933 boy students and 2,00682 girl students) achieved 1st division, whereas 5,11,623 students (2,49,311 boy students and 2,62,312 girl students) achieved 2nd division. The rest of the 2,99,518 candidates achieved 3rd division. In this year's examination, a total of 13,05,203 students passed, out of which 6,61,570 boy students cleared the 10th board examination, compared to 6,43,633 girl students.

The Bihar Board has announced that the first rank holders will be rewarded with Rs 1 lakh, 1 laptop, and 1 Kindle e-book reader. The 2nd rank holder will be rewarded with Rs 75,000, 1 laptop, and 1 Kindle e-book reader, whereas the 3rd rank holder will be rewarded with Rs 50,000, 1 laptop, and a Kindle e-book reader. The other rank holders from 4th to 10th will be awarded Rs 10,000, 1 laptop, and 1 Kindle e-book reader.
