Bihar Board 12th Result declared, girls outshine boys | Here’re details

The overall percentage is 83.70% which is an increase of 3.70% from the previous year’s 80% whereas like every year, girls have scored better than the boys this year too. This year, girls have topped all three streams – Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities. Somya Sharma topped in Commerce stream with 95% whereas Ayushi Nandan topped in science with 94.8%.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has released the 12th board examination result. The candidates who have given the examination can check their results at the official website of Bihar Board – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. This time 10,51,948 candidates have cleared the Bihar Board 12th examination.

Somya Sharma topped in Commerce stream with 95% whereas Ayushi Nandan topped in science with 94.8%. In the Arts/Humanities Stream, Mohaddesa got number 1 rank with 95% marks. The Bihar Board will now be rewarding Rs 1 lakh, a kindle and laptop to the toppers of the three streams. For the scrutiny, the students can apply from today till 23rd of March 2023 and the compartment examination date would be released this week and the results would be declared in May.

In the science stream, 4,92,300 candidates passed the examination (83.93%) in which 3,01,627 candidates have got 1st division, 1,87,223 students have got 2nd division while 3,430 have got 3rd division. This time 46,180 (93.95%) have passed the commerce examination in which 30,475 have got 1st division, 12,975 students have got 2nd division whereas 2,730 have got the 3rd division. In the Arts/Humanities stream, 5,53,150 (82.74%) students have passed the exams from which 1,80,979 have earned 1st division, 2,86,859 have earned 2nd division and the 85,312 earned 3rd division.
