The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is inviting application from eligible candidates for admission to Ph.D., MPhil, integrated MPhil Ph.D courses. Interested applicants/candidates can visit the official website of BHU – bhuonline.in – to check the programme courses, the eligibility criteria and/or to apply to these programmes. February 15, 2022, is the deadline for the online application submission.

Here's how to Apply?
Ø Step 1: Visit and open the main official website for the university – bhuonline.in .
Ø Step 2: Scroll down to apply and register on the BHU portal for Entrance Exams (RET 2021).
Ø Step 3: Choose the course you wish to apply in.
Ø Step 4: Fill in the application form displayed on the screen with the required information and details.
Ø Step 5: Before submitting review the application by clicking on ‘review’. Click on ‘edit’ to revise the details if needed.
Ø Step 6: Click on ‘confirm’, after filling and checking the information and details that are added are correct.
Ø Step 7: After completing the filing process of the form, an option would come up to pay the application fee. Click on the option to pay the fee for the application form and then, submit the form.

What all are required:
1. A passport-sized photograph (colored) in “JPEG” format
2. Signature (colored) in “JPEG” format
(make sure that these JPEG files don’t exceed 100 KB.)
3. Application fee is to be paid through any (one) online services like credit/debit card or net banking.
(If these services are not there, one can pay through any branch of the HDFC Bank through a challan)
