CUCET 2022: JNU, DU to now accept its test scores; here's the list of all universities

In 2021, 12 central universities participated in the CUCET organized by NTA for admission in undergraduate or integrated and post-graduate courses. Other many universities might exercise this test. National Testing Agency (NTA) organises and conducts a national level exam known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The major centrally-funded universities take this test as a consideration method for admission for different courses and programs they offer.

In 2021, 12 central universities participated in the CUCET organised by NTA for admission in undergraduate or integrated and post-graduate courses.

For most undergrad programmes, Delhi university gave admission based on the students’ merit, whereas, for the remaining UG programmes, and PG programmes DU conducted DUET – Delhi University Entrance Test by NTA.

The University of Delhi (DU) and The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) agreed and approved CUCET as the entrance exam for the admissions starting next year, i.e., 2022. The JNUEE – JNU Entrance Exam was also conducted by NTA.

“Admissions are handled at the level of each of the participating Central Universities (CUs) for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CU-CET result by NTA, the respective CUs will declare the counselling/ admission schedule and merit list....” the NTA said.

Before applying for the CUCET exam, applicants must check and assess the eligibility criteria for admission to the concerned university. All the information regarding the criteria for eligibility, the structure of a programme, applying process, and other information with details will be accessible through the official website of the respective university.
