The Premier said Jacinta Allan that Victoria is the first choice for Indian students as it has 200 academic and research collaborations between India and Australia.
Commitment to Education in Victoria
Talking at Didac India, Asia's largest exhibition and conference focused on education and skilling resources, today at the India International Convention and Expo Centre, Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, Premier Jacinta Allan said this.
"I have come to India with three big priorities, and that is: 'Education, Education, and Education'," Allan said.
Of the 200 academic and research collaborations between Victoria and India, Victoria stands as the number one destination for Indian international students, and we see the brightest opportunity for growth and partnerships," she added.
Emphasising mental health in Education
The first day of the 14th edition of Didac India was initiated by an auspicious coming together of leaders of education, policymakers, and industry experts from around the world.
Technology provides comfort, but quietness inside is needed to focus. Institution for learning must wake up for psychological issues with teachers, students and parents," said famous Indian guru and spiritual leader, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
"It is very important to have a platform that helps students build mental resilience for their intellectual growth," he further said.
Innovative dialogues and Global presence at Didac India
The event saw exclusive panel discussions that addressed the needs of the entire education system - sessions such as, 'Beyond NEP- Pathways to light and tight governance model', 'Fostering emergent, distributed and authentic leadership in education' and 'Teaching in the age of AI-redefining the classroom'.
They include the Maldives, Germany, Finland, the State of Victoria, the State of New South Wales and the UK.
Over 300 brands from 20 countries, among them Google, Apple, HP, Samsung, IBO, BenQ, Janatics, Pearson, and Roombr will present over 5000 products and technologies to the show.
