On Friday, Medanta Hospitals holding company Global Health Ltd reported a 25 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 127.3 crore for the January-March quarter of 2023-24 compared to the corresponding figure of Rs 101.8 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The Dr. Naresh Trehan-led healthcare major posted a 14 per cent increase in revenue from operations at Rs 808 crore during the fourth quarter compared to Rs 707 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue from operations showed an upward movement of 14 per cent, touching Rs 808 crore in the fourth quarter, as compared to Rs 707 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
Medanta Medicity, located in Gurugram, is a flag-ship super-specialty hospital with a significant capacity of 1,400 beds under the Global Health flagship. Besides, the company owns 150-bed hospitals in both Indore and Ranchi, as well as two hospitals in Lucknow and Patna.
Global Health is also setting up yet another hospital in Noida to further spread the group's footprint and its commitment to extending quality healthcare services across various geographies.
