Vistara Expands Horizons: Direct Flights from Mumbai to Paris Soon to Take Off

Currently, Vistara operates five weekly flights to Paris from Delhi. With the addition of the Mumbai-Paris route, the Gurugram-based airline aims to strengthen connectivity between India and Europe.

Vistara, the full-service carrier, announced on Tuesday its plans to launch non-stop flights from Mumbai to Paris starting from March 28. The airline intends to operate these flights five times a week, utilizing a Boeing 787-9 aircraft for the route.

Currently, Vistara operates five weekly flights to Paris from Delhi. With the addition of the Mumbai-Paris route, the Gurugram-based airline aims to strengthen connectivity between India and Europe. Vistara has already established flight services to London and Frankfurt from Mumbai as part of its long-haul international network.

Celebrating its ninth year of operations, Vistara views the introduction of direct flights between Mumbai and Paris as a strategic move to position Mumbai as a crucial hub for international travel. Vinod Kannan, the Chief Executive Officer of Vistara, expressed delight over the announcement, emphasizing the airline's commitment to enhancing connectivity and meeting the travel needs of passengers.
