OPPO India to explore remedies under law over customs duty evasion charges

OPPO India told IANS that it has a different view on the charges mentioned in the show cause notice. "We believe it's an industry-wide issue many corporates are working on. OPPO India is reviewing the show cause notice received from DRI, and we are going to reply to the notice, presenting our side, and will be working further with the related government departments," the company said.
Indian rupee weakens against dollar

Tesla fires 229 employees from Autopilot team, shuts office

According to a regulatory filing in California state in the US and seen by TechCrunch, Tesla had laid-off workers from its San Mateo office that employed 276 workers. The remaining 47 employees may be sent to work in Tesla's Buffalo Autopilot office, according to the report. Tesla started laying off salaried employees after Musk's announcement, which would result in reducing Tesla's total headcount by roughly 3.5 percent.
