World's richest person Bernard Arnault appoints daughter to run Dior

Arnault, 73, is the chief executive, chair and majority shareholder of the group, which owns a swathe of high-end businesses including Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Givenchy, Kering and Moet Hennessy, The Guardian reported. He announced on Wednesday that his eldest daughter would become Dior's chief executive and chair as part of a shake-up of the 382 bn euro (337 bn pound) conglomerate, the report said.
Direct tax collections rise 24% year-on-year to Rs 14.71 lakh crore

This collection is 86.68 per cent of the total budget estimates of direct taxes for 2022-23. Refunds amounting to Rs 2.40 lakh crore have been issued between April 1, 2022 and January 10, 2023, which are 58.74 per cent higher than refunds issued during the corresponding period of last year.
