Pakistan witnessing a petrol crisis

There is a short supply of petrol in the country with Punjab province bearing the brunt of the crisis. Major and smaller cities, towns and villages in the province do not have the major fuel, The News reported. The crisis has worsened in the last few days despite the government's warning to the people from hoarding petrol in anticipation of an increase in its price.
IRDAI forms consultative committee on insurance investments

DGCA imposes Rs 20 lakh fine on Air Asia for failing to discharge duties

The DGCA has also imposed a penalty of Rs 3 lakh each on eight designated examiners of the airline for failing to discharge their duties.It has also asked for removal of the airline's Head of Training from his position for three months. Earlier, a surveillance inspection of Air Asia (India) Ltd was carried out by the DGCA during November 23 to November 25, 2022.
PM to inaugurate 246 km section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

The 246 km Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 12,150 crore. The operationalisation of this section will reduce the travel time from Delhi to Jaipur from 5 hours to around 3.5 hours and provide a major boost to economic development of the entire region. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajasthan on February 12 and Karnataka on February 13.
All legacy Blue badges will be removed soon: Elon Musk

Musk has time and again said that the company will remove all Blue checks, as it gets busy monetising its platform by charging users. "Legacy blue checks will be removed soon. Those are the ones that are truly corrupt," he reiterated in a tweet. Earlier this month, the Twitter CEO had said that all legacy verified accounts will soon lose their Blue badges as those are 'deeply corrupted'.

Apple iOS App users are also requested update to version 2.0.2 which is now available on the App Store. Once you scan/upload the boarding pass, a pop-up window allows you to directly share the boarding pass to the airport."

IIP growth falls to 4.3% in Dec 2022

The industrial growth in December 2021 was 1 per cent. According to the data, the manufacturing sector's output rose 2.6 per cent in December 2022. Among all the key sectors, the electricity sector showed maximum growth of 10.4 per cent, followed by mining at 9.8 per cent and manufacturing at 2.6 per cent.
