India Cements logs Q1 loss of Rs 75 crore, to modernise and monetise assets

Speaking to reporters, Vice Chairman and Managing Director N.Srinivasan noted that the company requires about Rs 400 crore (Rs 250 crore for capital expenditure and Rs 150 crore for working capital) and about Rs100 crore will be raised in two weeks towards working capital.

According to the report, in July, the cost of cooking a vegetarian thali at home stood at Rs 33.7 (June rate Rs 26.3) whereas the cost of non-vegetarian home meal was at Rs 66.8 (June rate Rs 60). According to CRISIL, a vegetarian thali comprises roti, vegetables (onion, tomato, and potato), rice, dal, curd, and salad. For a non-vegetarian thali, chicken has been considered instead of dal.
SEBI to tighten disclosure norms for conglomerates

In the ensuing year, SEBI plans to review the pricing mechanism in case of delisting. In particular, review of the reverse book building process and exploring other alternatives to determine exit price in case of voluntary delisting would be undertaken.

Nifty closed higher for 5th straight month in July

As per an exchange filing, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder and CEO of One 97 Communications Limited (Paytm), and Antfin (Netherlands) Holding BV (Antfin) announced execution of an agreement for 10.3 per cent stake in the company. Resilient, an overseas entity 100 per cent owned by Sharma, will acquire 10.30 per cent stake in Paytm from Antfin through an off-market transfer. 
iPhone 16 Pro models may feature stacked camera sensor design: Report

According to Apple industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, two iPhone 16 Pro models will adopt a stacked CIS (CMOS Image Sensor) design. The camera's stacked CIS design lets it capture more light, have a wider dynamic range, and perform better in low-light circumstances.
