Errol Musk, father of technology entrepreneur Elon Musk and Global Advisor to Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd, arrived in India on Sunday.
He has as part of his itinerary a visit to Servotech's manufacturing facility and a series of high-level interactions, including a visit later in the week to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Servotech assured that Musk's visit is aimed at boosting India's progress in green technology and infrastructure for electric vehicle (EV) charging.
The company underscored that his visit serves as a pointer to increased global focus on India's development in sustainable innovation and its plans to become a hub for green tech exports globally.
"We are thoroughly excited to have Errol Musk visit India," said Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd.
"His deep knowledge and worldwide vision as our Global Advisor are priceless as we spur India's vision to become a green technology powerhouse and EV charging export hub. This visit marks a significant milestone towards 'Keeping Bharat Ahead' on the international front," Bhatia added.
Errol Musk is likely to hold meetings with a broad range of stakeholders while he is there.
He will give the keynote speech at the India–Global Green Tech Vision Forum 2025, which will be held in New Delhi. The high-profile conference will bring together industry captains, government representatives, investors, and policy thought leaders to discuss India's strategic trajectory for green innovation.
Part of his tour, Musk will also visit Servotech's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana. The plant is famous for developing leading-edge EV chargers, solar power systems, and other green solutions, all under the 'Make in India' umbrella, the firm added.
"It is a great privilege to be in India and observe its energetic advancement in green technology and sustainable progress," said Errol Musk.
"India's focus on a greener future and the nascent EV ecosystem hold fantastic opportunities. I look forward to being part of Servotech's vision and discovering the possibility of India driving the global green revolution," he further said.
