Bill Gates’ alleged affair with female employee: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella breaks silence, here's what he said

“I feel that we have created an environment that allows us to really drive the everyday improvement in our diversity and inclusion culture, which I think is a super important thing and that’s what I’m focused on,” he told BBC. “The most important thing is for us to make sure that everybody’s comfortable in being able to raise any issues they see and for us to be able to fully investigate it,” he added.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella broke his silence on the controversy over his former boss Bill Gates’ affair with a female employee.

Talking to BBC about the controversy,  Satya Nadella clarified that the culture in Microsoft’s workplace has changed a lot since 2000. He further talked about the changing power dynamics in the company and the comfort level among his employees.

Bill Gates stepped down as the CEO of his own company back in 2000 but some recent reports claim that he had started an inappropriate sexual relationship with one of his female staff member while holding that position. It is to be noted that Gates started the relationship while he was still married to Melinda Gates.

These reports surfaced after Bill and his wife Melinda Gates decided to end their 27 years long marriage.
