Anand Mahindra Showcases Innovative Infrared Technology for Vein Detection

Touting the importance of this invention, Mahindra said that all too often, it is the simplest, most humble kind of inventions that go on to do so much for our medical experience—and hence, to better the quality of our lives.

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has shared a video on social media platform X, which shows new technology using infrared light to detect veins. "Using infrared light to locate veins. Saving the pain from repeated attempts to find a vein when drawing blood," he wrote.

Touting the importance of this invention, Mahindra said that all too often, it is the simplest, most humble kind of inventions that go on to do so much for our medical experience—and hence, to better the quality of our lives.

To date, the video has got more than 680,000 views, with many more users chiming in their opinions in the comments.
