Adani Group's Major Investment Shifts to Uttar Pradesh, Says Karan Adani

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Karan Adani outlined the ambitious vision for the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA), emphasizing its pivotal role in the region's economic growth. Highlighting the Adani Group's commitment to bolstering Uttar Pradesh's journey towards a one trillion dollar economy, Karan Adani emphasized that their investments extended beyond mere infrastructure development. With a focus on sectors including road, cement, data, power, and renewable energy, the Adani Group's presence in Uttar Pradesh is poised to be transformative.

Anticipating the completion of various projects, Karan Adani mentioned that milestones such as the Ganga Expressway's expected completion by year-end and the Noida data center becoming operational by March 2025 were on the horizon.

Meanwhile, the newly constructed terminal at CCSIA, connecting numerous domestic and international destinations, boasts cutting-edge facilities for passenger convenience. With an increased number of check-in counters, immigration facilities, and passenger boarding gates, the terminal's capacity augmentation promises enhanced operational efficiency.

Furthermore, the terminal integrates advanced technologies like DigiYatra and common-use self-service kiosks to streamline travel processes. Aesthetically, the airport showcases the rich art and architectural heritage of Uttar Pradesh, with captivating motifs and graphics depicting stories from Indian epics.

Emphasizing sustainability, the airport incorporates eco-friendly practices and materials, aligning with contemporary environmental standards. Additionally, plans are in place to transform the airport into a multi-modal travel hub, facilitating seamless connectivity through metro services, intercity electric buses, and app-based taxi solutions.
