A Tesla Model X SUV was recently spotted on the roads in Bengaluru, and images of the electric vehicle quickly went viral on social media. The red-colored Model X was seen near Minsk Square, close to the Cubbon Park metro station. Two separate photos were shared—one with the car halted at a traffic signal and another while it was in motion.

The images led to speculation about Tesla conducting test drives in Bengaluru. This sighting comes amid reports that Tesla may announce plans to establish an Electric Vehicle (EV) supply system manufacturing plant in Gujarat, India, during the 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.' The announcement is expected to be made in the presence of Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the event from January 10-12, 2024. Gujarat has suggested Sanand, Becharaji, and Dholera as potential sites for Tesla's manufacturing plant.
