In the third and final ODI of the series, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia at Manuka Oval, Canberra.

D'Arcy Short will replace Warner in the Australian T20I team for the three-match ODI series. Right-arm pacer Pat Cummins has been sent on rest to keep his form for the test series.
