US: Secret Service Fires to Thwart Car Break-In Targeting Presiden Biden's Granddaughter

The Secret Service clarified that none of the protectees, speculated to include Naomi Biden, the President's 29-year-old granddaughter and a lawyer, were in jeopardy during the incident. 

In a late-night incident on November 12, Secret Service agents safeguarding President Biden's granddaughter took action to thwart potential intruders attempting to break into an unoccupied government vehicle in Georgetown, Washington, DC. 

At approximately 11:58 p.m., agents encountered three individuals vandalizing the parked vehicle. To prevent the break-in, a federal agent discharged a service weapon, and although no injuries are believed to have occurred, the culprits hastily fled in a red vehicle.

The Secret Service clarified that none of the protectees, speculated to include Naomi Biden, the President's 29-year-old granddaughter and a lawyer, were in jeopardy during the incident. 

Authorities promptly issued a regional lookout to apprehend the fleeing suspects. Both the DC Metropolitan Police Department and the Secret Service are actively investigating the matter to ensure a thorough understanding of the events.
