US Ambassador to India, Kenneth Juster bid farewell to India in his final tweet as ambassador on Wednesday.
Juster's departure comes as Joe Biden has taken over as the 46th President of the United States.
Donald Trump had on September 5, 2017 nominated Juster to become the 25th U.S. Ambassador to India.
He played a major role making U.S. co-sponsorship of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit along with India. He was also instrumental in the continued expansion of trade and investment between the United States and India and the launch of the Strategic Energy Partnership between the two countries.
The Two-Plus-Two Ministerial Dialogue between the two country's Foreign and Defense Ministers in Sep. 2018, which included the signing of the landmark Communications Compatibility and Security Agreement (COMCASA) was done under Juster.
Juster gave a widely acclaimed policy address in January 2018, which set out a vision for a durable U.S.-India strategic partnership.
