'No longer wish to be related to my father': Elon Musk's transgender daughter files petition to change gender, name

Musk's child Xavier Alexander Musk, after turning 18,  has filed documents in the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica in April court to change her identity. Xavier has requested the court to change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson and asked the court to recognise her gender as female. In the documents, Xavier Musk said, "I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form."

In the documents, Xavier Musk said, "I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form."

Elon Musk was married to Canadian author Justine Wilson from 2000 to 2008. The couple gave birth to twins- Xavier and Griffin.

However, there is no official statement from Musk's lawyer and Tesla media office on Xavier's comment.

In May,  Musk had declared his support for the Republican Party, whose elected representatives support a raft of legislation that would limit transgender rights in states across the country.

Interestingly, in 2020, Musk was slammed on social media for his comment on the issue of transgender people choosing their preferred pronouns. "I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare," he commented.
