Israel remains America's 'indispensable ally' regardless who becomes next US President: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

"I will do my utmost to secure the bipartisan support that has been so essential for Israel. And I will inform my friends on both sides of the aisle that whoever the American people choose as their next president, Israel remains America's indispensable and strong ally in the Middle East," said the Israeli PM while addressing before his departure to Washington.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sought to put the best face on Tuesday on the eternal alliance between Israel and the United States as he departed for a high-stakes diplomatic visit to Washington. Calling the trip "fateful," Netanyahu cited Israel's challenges on all fronts alongside the current political situation in the U.S.

Accompanied by Noa Argamani, an Israeli hostage lately freed from Hamas captivity, Netanyahu repeated his commitment to the freeing of all hostages and the safety of all citizens of Israel.

"I am going to see President Biden, whom I have known for over 40 years. Of course, the opportunity will let me thank him for all he did for Israel during the war and in his long, distinguished career in public service, first as Senator, then as Vice President, and then as President… It's very important that the enemies of Israel, in this time of war and uncertainty, clarify without a doubt that America and Israel stand together today, tomorrow, and always," he said.

Taking it further, Netanyahu said, "In times of uncertainty, it is more clear than ever that America stands with Israel today, tomorrow, and always for our enemies to know."
