The letter stated, "Vanshika went missing on Friday, April 25, 2025, in the evening after she had left her house at 7 Majestic Drive between 8-9 PM to see a rented room. Her phone was turned off at about 11:40 PM on that night, and she had missed a very important exam the next day, which was entirely out of character for her.". Regardless of all the efforts made by her friends and relatives, there has been no news or contact regarding her whereabouts.

The community's letter also added, "We are very concerned and worst fearing. The Hindu community in Ottawa is disturbed, and the anxiety increases each hour. Based on the disturbing situation and the vulnerability of the missing person, we humbly request your immediate attention and intervention in this case.". We respectfully request the Ottawa Police Service to upgrade this case, assign necessary resources, and give priority to investigating Vanshika's disappearance. A prompt and diligent response may make a decisive difference in bringing her back safely.
