‘I’ll see you in four years’: Donald Trump hints at 2024 White House rerun

Trump is yet to concede defeat but his remarks suggest that he is preparing to accept Joe Biden's victory in November 3 elections.

Donald Trump on Tuesday hinted that he might try his luck once again for US presidency four years later, in 2024. Floating the idea of White House rerun, Trump said that he is ‘trying to do another four years’ but if that does not happen ‘I’ll see you in 4 years’. He made these remarks while hosting a White House Christmas party.

Several Republican officials attended this party which was closed to the media. However, a video of the party shows the outgoing President talking about his election term and future plans.

"It's been an amazing four years. We are trying to do another four years. Otherwise, I'll see you in four years," he told guests at a White House Christmas party on Tuesday.

According to NBC, Trump has discussed the possibility of his close aides of re-launching his 2024 election campaign on January 20th, the same day President-elect Joe Biden will take the White House officially.

Meanwhile, President-elect  Joe Biden is busy building his team for his Presidential term.
