FM Lavrov: Russia Will Prevail in Ukraine Conflict Provoked by the West

Lavrov, talking to TASS news agency said, west responds only with force, and Russia is together for this proxy war.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov declared Russia will win in this war with Ukraine, something he says goaded the West.
Lavrov, talking to TASS news agency said, west responds only with force, and Russia is together for this proxy war.

The victory is necessary. They understand nothing except the language of force. This victory will be ours, undoubtedly. We have properly united against this war, which the West has started with its actions through Ukraine," Lavrov declared.

Lavrov was scathing about the United States, saying that country aggravates global conflicts, including in Ukraine and Gaza.

"The US, as a so-called 'problem solver,' has only exacerbated crises worldwide. Wherever the West gets involved as the main 'fix-it man,' pardon my slang, the situation deteriorates — hundreds of thousands of victims, devastation, and socio-economic issues. This is what we see in Ukraine and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict," he said.

He proceeded to berate the United Nations over its silence concerning attacks against Russian civilians in the Kursk Region, where there's been a reported attempt by Ukrainian forces to bomb civilian areas using weapons that came from West.
"Terrorist groups are attacking the Kursk Region daily with modern Western weapons. Yet, I've heard nothing from the UN's human rights representatives, including the secretary-general," Lavrov said.

Not only did he target the Eastern European countries allied with NATO and the European Union but accused them of not being trusted by their Western partners.

"Easter European countries need to know that they are not trusted by their 'masters' in NATO and the EU. They will never be given a serious role on the international stage," Lavrov concluded.
