Notably, the initial registration phase for the most coveted H-1B visas for foreign guest workers for fiscal year 2025 will conclude at 12 noon Eastern Time (9:30 pm IST) on March 22, according to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as announced on Monday.
During this phase, prospective petitioners and legal representatives are mandated to utilize the online platform of USCIS to electronically register each beneficiary for the selection process, alongside paying the relevant registration fee for each beneficiary.
Moreover, USCIS disclosed that online account users will benefit from enhanced organizational account features facilitating collaboration on registrations and petitions within their online accounts.

Additionally, USCIS made accessible Form I-129, a petition for a nonimmigrant worker, for H-1B petitions, and Form I-907, a request for premium processing service, through USCIS online accounts, as per a media release.

The USCIS will commence accepting online filings of the forms for H-1B cap petitions starting from April 1. Further updates regarding the availability of online filing for non-cap H-1B petitions will be announced by USCIS.
