Baloch activist Karima who called PM Modi ‘brother’ found dead mysteriously in Canada

Karima’s husband and brother identified the boy, as per media reports. She was a Baloch Students’ Organisation-Azad and found mention in the BBC’s list of 100 influential women in 2016. In the same year, she called PM Modi “brother” in a recorded video message on Rakshabandhan and asked for his support by becoming the voice of the Baloch movement.

She is the second Baloch activist to be found dead on foreign lands. Earlier, founder of the Balochistan Times Sajid Hussain was found dead in Sweden, weeks after he went missing.

“We appeal to you that, as our brother, you speak about the genocide and war crimes in Balochistan on international forums and become the voice of the sisters of Baloch,” she had said.
