France Head Coach Didier Deschamps Expresses Outrage Over Kylian Mbappe, Report

According to a Marca report, Mbappe has left French captain 'ereasing himself from the national team' feeling as Deschamps and his staff are furious with Mbappe, who they rested only because of injury, have that feeling.

France national head coach Didier Deschamps and his team have been enraged over the early return to competition of striker Kylian Mbappe. The striker has been omitted from the team that will feature at the forthcoming UEFA Nations League. Mbappe was replaced through injury, but during Real Madrid's triumph over Alaves; it had been anticipated he would miss three weeks; however, the player returned to play after nine days against Lille, in UCL, and played for 70 minutes against Villarreal on Saturday. According to a Marca report, Mbappe has left French captain 'ereasing himself from the national team' feeling as Deschamps and his staff are furious with Mbappe, who they rested only because of injury, have that feeling.

France suffered a last-day Nations League defeat to Italy and are second in Group 2. They next travel to Hungary for Iran before turning their attention back to Belgium, against whom they meet on 11th of October.

Mbappe's rise has also gone hand-in-hand with much vitriol mixed with sarcastic comments by former France and Manchester United captain Patrice Evra, who even mocked the idea of naming the 25-year-old to captain the national team.

"You gave him the keys to PSG, you gave him the keys to the French national team, but Mbappé is still a young player. With all due respect to him, he hasn't reached the level of Benzema," Evra said on RMC Sport show Rothen S'enflamme.

"Of course I would have given the armband to Griezmann, without hesitation. I would never have given it to Mbappe. How do you want him to be motivated afterwards? If we give him everything, will you want to make the effort?" he further said.
