The viewership consists of various kind of video content such as official trailers and clips from the series, fan recreations of iconic moments, real-world challenges inspired by the plot, and even narration of user-generated video games based on the property which are found on services like Roblox, stated by a report “Variety”. "In 10 years looking at YouTube, we've never seen anything quite like this," vice president of audience development in Vobile told ‘Variety’.

Ajey Nagar, 22, who runs his YouTube channel with the name of 'CarryMinati', faced a creative roadblock during the pandemic and couldn't create content for his YouTube channel for the longest time. He said: "Isolation and the pandemic somewhere affected me at a very subconscious level and there were days I felt creatively challenged. However, the film shoot was a gamechanger in the midst of it all.

The YouTuber has further said that after receiving the DM or direct message from Kundra, at first she could not believe that it was actually him who had sent her that message and thought that it might be a spam message. The dance moves for this challenge are the "International Sign" gestures that the septet was seen doing in the music video, bearing the meaning "Joy", "Dance" and "Peace". As part of the challenge, BTS will spotlight some of their favourite shorts in a compilation video, so participants are encouraged to use hashtags #PermissiontoDance and #Shorts for their creations.

YouTube star and digital creator CarryMinati, whose real name is Ajey Nagar, attributes garnering 30 million subscribers to his fans, saying the figures indicate his content is loved by most viewers despite criticism. Latest this year, the 21-year-old digital creator will be seen facing the camera in the Amitabh Bachchan-Ajay Devgn starrer thriller "Mayday".
