The World Health Organization (WHO) reported a loss of communication with Al-Shifa Hospital, expressing concern for the well-being of children and elderly patients amid Israeli attacks.

The situation in Gaza has been a longstanding and complex issue, and the Crown Prince's remarks may reflect broader concerns about the international community's ability to address such crises effectively.

“We have 39 newborns in the incubators. Those babies are fighting against death. We are totally stranded, cut off from the outside world and are left without any medical resources. We cannot even bury the dead,” Alreesh told Al Jazeera in an interview.

Speaking to the BBC on Friday night after the end of the annual Paris Peace Forum, the President said the "clear conclusion" of all governments and agencies present at that summit was "that there is no other solution than first a humanitarian pause, going to a ceasefire, which will allow (us) to protect... all civilians having nothing to do with terrorists".

The agenda of the talks will extend beyond the US-China relationship, touching upon global hotspots such as the Russia-Ukraine war and the Israel-Hamas conflict. The United States will seek China's assistance in defusing tensions in these areas.

Avichay Adraee, the IDF's Arabic spokesperson, disclosed in a post on X that analysis of operational systems suggested saboteurs fired rockets, targeting IDF forces near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has not released any official statement on this incident. IDF has confirmed its presence in Gaza City, conducting operations at the office of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar's brother, Mohammed Sinwar. 

The duration of this control, whether temporary or extended, wasn't explicitly detailed by the Prime Minister.

Of the 2.2 million civilians in the enclave, over 700,000 have already fled to the south, including foreign passport holders and injured individuals who crossed the Rafah border into Egypt.
