Musk suspends Twitter accounts of several prominent journalists

When a Twitter user posted screenshots of suspended accounts of some journalists, Musk said on Friday: "Same doxxing rules apply to journalists as to everyone else. "They posted my exact real-time location, basically assassination coordinates, in (obvious) direct violation of Twitter terms of service." The user's post also included journalists Ryan Mac from The New York Times and Aaron Rupar from Independent.
Twitter to shut down newsletter tool Revue in 2023

Twitter's senior product manager and Revue founder Martijn de Kuijper made the announcement in a post on Wednesday. Users will not be able to access their Revue account from January 18, 2023 and all data will be deleted. "This has been a hard decision because we know Revue has a passionate user base, made up of people like you," Kuijper wrote.
Musk sells Tesla stock worth $3.5 bn amid Twitter overhaul

Since November 2021, Musk has sold more than $39 billion of Tesla shares. After the fresh share sale, according to a form filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Musk now owns about $66 billion worth of Tesla stock. In April this year, the new Twitter CEO sold off $8.5 billion worth of Tesla stock while in August, he offloaded another $7 billion shares.
Twitter suspends account tracking Musk, legal action underway

Jack Sweeney, a 19-year-old college student and aviation enthusiast, created the @ElonJet account, which provided regular updates on flights of Musk by using publicly available data. Musk on Thursday said: "legal action is being taken against Sweeney and organisations who supported harm to my family," arguing it put his son at risk.

The Blue subscription service with verification costs $8 for Android users and $11 for iPhone owners per month. "Starting today, when you subscribe your account will get access to subscriber-only features including Edit Tweet, 1080p video uploads, reader mode, and a blue checkmark (once your account has been reviewed)," said the company.
