Tunisia sees sharp rise in tourism revenues

For the whole year of 2022, tourist revenues increased by 83.3 per cent compared to those of 2021, and nearly 6.5 million foreign tourists visited Tunisia
Finland bans entry of Russian tourists

As of Thursday midnight and until further notice, Russian citizens travelling with tourist visas will be banned from entering or transiting the country, reports Xinhua news agency. A Foreign Ministry statement noted that the move aims to "completely prevent Russian tourism". "The reception of visa applications is severely restricted," it added.
Japan reopens borders to some foreign tourists after 2 years

The government initially opened its borders to tourists from 98 countries and regions on guided tours, with the countries and regions deemed eligible owing to their low risk of Covid-19, reports Xinhua news agency. Such countries include the US, Britain, China, South Korea, Indonesia and Thailand. Foreign visitors from this group are exempt from Covid-19 testing upon arrival in Japan and do not need to quarantine for any period of time.
Fishermen, energy security, tourism in focus in India-Sri Lanka talks
